I’m a big fan of the Emerge Body Slenderizing Drink Mix from Max Muscle. Ever since I tried it a couple of years ago, it’s been one of my favorite supplements for a variety of reasons. Unfortunately, I simply cannot afford to use Emerge as often as I’d like.
At $54.99 per container, it’s a bit of a steep price for someone who doesn’t make a lot of money. That is, unless you look at it per serving instead of per purchase. I’ll explain that in a moment.
As expensive as it may be, it does have a lot of properties which drive me to use Emerge as often as possible.
1. Energy Boost
The first thing I feel when I use Emerge is the overall boost in energy levels. Unfortunately, I don’t feel the same rush of energy when drinking coffee. Thanks to my addiction, I’ve built a tolerance to caffeine. [note]Legion Athletics – https://legionathletics.com/caffeine-tolerance/[/note]
While drinking Emerge, I feel far more energized over a short period of time, especially in the morning. Because my stomach is empty and this is an energy drink, it doesn’t take long to get into my system.
And speaking from experience, no other “energy drink” product has ever perked me up in the morning quite like Emerge. Not only is this product loaded with B-complex vitamins, which also encourage energy creation, but about half of the other materials are also found to be “energizing.”
However, keep in mind that more B-complex vitamins doesn’t necessarily mean more energy. Emerge simply provides the vitamins you need right now to help convert glucose to energy in muscle matter. It also impacts brain function and impacting how you feel overall. [note]NCBI – https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4772032/[/note]
2. Cleansing the System
Emerge is created with components that make it a diuretic. This means it helps the body rid itself of excess water, salt and other toxins through urination. In other words, you’ll find yourself peeing a lot. [note]Healthline – https://www.healthline.com/health/diuretics[/note]
Urinating is how the body excretes a lot of the toxins that build up in the body. These are processed from the kidneys as they work as a kind of filtration system. Diuretics simply force the body to rid itself of the materials within.
However, overhydration can also lead to frequent trips to the bathroom. This is when you consume far more water than you’re body actually needs. Just make sure you’re balancing your intake well.
Personally, I use a hydration-detecting scale that helps highlight where my levels are.
3. Improving My Mood
Another pleasant side effect, and one of the claims of Max Muscle when you use Emerge, is how mentally good I feel. About a half-hour after drinking it, I am generally in a good mood and a bit on the hyperactive side.
And coming from someone who has battled depression most of his life, this is quite a pleasant change.
I simply feel far more mentally balanced throughout my day than I do otherwise. And what I like most is that the feeling seems to last hours if not the entire day.
It’s a long-lasting effect.
4. Fat Metabolizing
One thing I notice when I use Emerge is the fact that it seems easier to lose weight. Now, this could be culmination of a lot of different things. For example, my increased energy levels also mean I often get additional physical activity.
However, the product does contain components that are found to improve metabolizing fat. For instance, nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, or NADH, boosts fat oxidation while converting it into energy. [note]NCBI – https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4963347/[/note]
NADH is only one aspect of Emerge that promotes a “fat burning” experience. Most of the components in the product have a likewise effect.
5. Use Emerge to Suppress the Appetite
Like the bottle says, Emerge suppresses the appetite. This is another aspect that I can get behind as I find myself less likely to snack in the mornings. After a glass of this, my usual egg and cheese breakfast and a cup of coffee, I feel satisfied well into lunch.
In fact, I often have to remind myself to eat lunch when I use Emerge. But I don’t know if this is because my appetite is suppressed or because I am just too busy after feeling energized.
Either way, it seems to work extremely well in my case.
Emerge is made with Advantra Z. This is a patented product designed to suppress the appetite. As studies confirm Advantra Z to work exactly as it was intended, it only makes sense why I don’t feel hungry.[note}Nutraceuticals World – https://www.nutraceuticalsworld.com/contents/view_breaking-news/2017-07-26/study-confirms-advantra-z-suppresses-appetite[/note]
One of my biggest problems come from snacking at night. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to use Emerge to combat this problem. Otherwise, I would find it exceptionally difficult to sleep.
However, I might be able to drink it after lunch to help curb cravings later in the day.
6. Enhancing My Focus for Work
I work from home. As such, I am subject to a variety of diversions and often get side-tracked relatively easy. When I use Emerge, I feel more focused on what I am trying to do.
On days I drink this product, I am far more productive while working for clients as well as maintaining my own blog. I don’t feel burned out from looking at a white computer screen all day.
7. Affordable in Comparison
One of the reasons why I don’t use Emerge more often is because I usually don’t have the money for it. But in retrospect, it’s less expensive than drinking a store-bought energy drink once per day.
Per serving, Emerge averages out to about $1.83. When you consider you can buy a Monster for $2.00 at Walmart, it’s obviously the cheaper choice.
And based on how well it works on me, it’s far better of an experience than any energy drink I’ve had…including the times I’ve tried the 5-hour energy drinks from the gas station.
Instead of viewing the price in of the entire container, think about how much it is per serving. Essentially, you’re buying a month’s worth of energy drinks as you would from somewhere like Costco or Sam’s Club.
And in my case, it works far better.
Try to Use Emerge for Yourself
Not everyone can afford to shell out $55 every month. But when you consider how essentially it’s an energy drink that promotes a variety of benefits for less than $2 per day, it’s not a bad trade from other brands you may come across.
Personally, I’d rather use Emerge than virtually any other energy drink I’ve seen on the market.[template id=”3591″]
