Exercise: Spiderman Plank

For those who want to work on their abs, obliques, quads and glutes, the Spiderman Plank may be one of the better exercises. This is a difficult workout and may be something you want to work towards as a beginner. Personally, I was only able to sustain five reps with each set. This is because I am incredibly out of shape. Still, I plan on breaking these records as I work for greater fitness.

The air bicycle is an easy to do exercise that helps strengthen the core without a great deal of impact. Essentially, it centers around keeping your legs up and the abdomen tight. For those who are just starting out, it can be a great way to start your day by building onto your abs and getting the blood flowing. This is one of those exercises that is easy to do for virtually anyone regardless of body size.

Exercise: Scissor Kick

When you need an easy-to-do exercise to help shape your abs, the scissor kick is one of those that can be done virtually anywhere. As long as your comfortable on the floor, you can get a bit of an abdominal workout by shifting your legs back and forth. It’s one of those beginner exercises that I suggest people try who have been as lacking in fitness as myself. It’s a good warm-up routine to get into before trying some of the more grueling workouts.
